About KObido

KOBIDO facial sculpting is a traditional Japanese treatment that was reintroduced in Europe 14 years ago. To become a KOBIDO Master/Practitioner, one must possess a professional ITEC Diploma and have a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

This unique approach to facial care aims to restore harmony and balance to the skin, as well as to the mind and spirit. KOBIDO practitioners often emphasize not only the physical benefits but also the mental relaxation and emotional well-being that accompany each session.

What about the procedure?

TECHNIQUE

KOBIDO techniques are based on fast percussive tapping techniques, vibrations, stretching of facial muscles and joints, deep stroking, and kneading.

During the treatment, the practitioner sculpts the face, taking in all the different angles, lines and curves. This is done by kneading every square centimetre, which sparks muscle tone and oxygenation of the epidermis. Much deeper pressure is applied to places that are treated gently in a cosmetic massage. All these techniques, including lymphatic movements, acupressure points when used in one session make it much more effective than other massages. KOBIDO MASTER needs to follow an exact sequence of movements. This is how you can recognise a genuine KOBIDO from a classic massage.
