Kobido is called a non-surgical face lift . With these techniques you can naturally and over time:

• eliminate muscle tension on the face

• oxygenate the skin by stimulating micro-circulation

• you will regain your youthful face by working deeply on the muscle structures

• stimulate the production of skin components - collagen and elastin

• eliminate excessive tension around the neck, chest and facial contours

• when you wear an orthodontic mask ( you will feel relaxation and relaxation in the areas where the jaw shifts)

Kobido treatment is ideal for people who feel that water has retained on their face - swelling, bags under the eyes, fatigue, discoloured skin, and for people suffering from bruxism. The greatest effects will be seen by people with sagging facial skin that has lost its firmness.

Kobido facial sculpting makes our face look rested after just one massage, as if we had returned from a long vacation.

The point is that when doing a Kobido massage, we care primarily about prevention in the LONG term. So, keeping in mind that we are doing facial sculpting to maintain good appearance and reduce the chances of new wrinkles, we should not really care about the effects here and now!

You already know how long the effect of the Kobido massage lasts. I will add that the particularly visible effect concerns favourable changes immediately after the treatment. That's why so many clients say that doing Kobido is great - but when you stop doing it, the effects disappear. Note – this is NOT entirely true!

There is a saying that people overestimate what they can achieve in the short term and underestimate what they can achieve in the long term. Kobido Is certainly not something you should do once and expect a metamorphosis. But I assure you that by doing facial sculpting regularly, you will benefit from this REAL effect for a very long time.

Many people are not convinced about facial aesthetic medicine treatments . This is related, for example, to fear of being pricked by a needle, pain or contraindications to medical procedures, such as allergies to preparations. For such people, Kobido facial sculpting may be a great alternative.

I answer with full confidence that it CANNOT be compared.

It is not that using Kobido it is not worth doing Botox treatments. And vice versa - Botox does not prevent you from performing a Kobido massage. You just need to wait 2 weeks after the treatment and you can do massages. Moreover, it is ALWAYS worth massaging your face.

I guess that when asking whether Kobido or Botox is better, it may be about muscle relaxation. Kobido will certainly relax your muscles, but only for a while (a few hours). Botox, in turn, relaxes the muscles in some way and limits their work for months.

Therefore, if I had to choose what is better for facial wrinkles, I would definitely choose Botox. However, as a person who also uses both Kobido and Botox treatments, I definitely say that one does not have to exclude the other.

First of all, the variety of techniques. The Japanese Kobido massage has a much broader repertoire than the classic cosmetic massage, which is why it is considered one of the most difficult massages in the world. It affects both the deep layers of the skin and the facial muscles . Cosmetic massage is mostly subtle stroking.

Any massage is never a lie. The effects will be different depending on how old you are, the condition of your skin and its flaccidity. For example if you are in your early 30ties, at this age we are working on maintaining firmness, being more protective and oxygenating the tissues.

I exercise at the gym and deep muscle massage often saved me from pain. And facial muscles are also muscles. We tighten and exercise them every day.

The most important thing is to perform the massage systematically. I suggest doing a series of 4 treatments every two weeks, and then once every month for maintenance purposes. Of course, the series can be repeated at any time, the most important thing is that there are no too many downtimes between sessions and that the massage is performed regularly.

Kobido facial sculpting session lasts approximately 60 minutes.

If we have tension in the facial muscles, sometimes we may feel slight discomfort in these places, but with each subsequent massage session, any pain disappears. Fast, intense lifting movements, the so-called "flying hands", may be felt on the verge of discomfort, but despite the intensity of the massage, you can deeply relax.

Kobido treatment is a kind of facial muscle gymnastics. Immediately after the massage, the skin may be very red and hot, but this symptom disappears quickly and the time it takes for the redness to disappear depends on the skin type.

Another interesting question I get from you is whether facial massage reduces wrinkles. When it comes to very fine wrinkles, yes -Kobido can deal with them. Improving blood circulation and oxygenation of the skin while relaxing the facial muscles can help the most.

However, if you expect more, you will probably be disappointed. The patient's initial situation before such a treatment, as well as the regularity of using Kobido massages, are very important. Additionally, you should consider sun protection, diet, sleep and hydration, which play a huge role when assessing the effects of skin quality.

I think that in order to understand what effects you can count on by receiving Kobido treatment, it is worth clearly determining what effects Kobido will definitely NOT give. Contrary to information that you can find in various places on the Internet, Kobido massage is not "magical" and its before and after effects will not solve any of your aesthetic problems. That's why it's a good idea to set reasonable expectations from the very beginning.

So let's move on to the list of before and after effects that Kobido facial massage will definitely NOT give.

You certainly cannot expect such an effect as a facial transformation after the first treatment. I will say more - metamorphosis is not something that Kobido will ever give.

Imagine coming home after Kobido treatment and showing up at the door to your husband or boyfriend. Will he notice the change? Probably not. The same will happen with colleagues at work or other close people.

For comparison, the situation is different when applying aesthetic medicine or plastic surgery treatments. Especially with the latter, the metamorphosis is something you can expect and will be noticed.

Speaking of plastic surgery, it is not uncommon to hear that Kobido will give the effect of a face lift. What facial massage offers is not even remotely close to a surgical facelift.

In fact, Kobido will allow the skin to tighten more immediately after the treatment - which is very desirable. However, if your face needs a facelift due to sagging tissues and large skin sags, Kobido will not help with this problem.

Another effect that you cannot count on when doing a Kobido massage is the removal of wrinkles that have already formed.

I will say more - visible wrinkles on the face are difficult to deal with AT ALL. Even using aesthetic medicine, cosmetology or plastic surgery, it is much better to counteract what is in front of you than to try to deal with large wrinkles. That's why prevention is so important!

As we age, we lose subcutaneous tissue. This causes the skin on the face to become loose and create wrinkles. The face becomes flatter, lacks volume, and skin sagging appears at the bottom of the face.

If your main problem is the loss of subcutaneous tissue and such results, then Kobido will certainly not cope with it as much as you might want. It is "just" a massage that will not fill such defects. In an aesthetic medicine office, the following are used: hyaluronic acid, i.e. filler.

When we engage the facial skin to work by touch, the tissues are stimulated to produce collagen. This is a natural reaction of the body to ensure that the tissues are in the best possible condition.

As a therapist I am a fan of treatments that provide preventive effects. Because it is better to act BEFORE deep wrinkles and nasolabial folds appear on the face. That is why this Kobido facial sculpting effect is the most important.

There are not many of them, but in some cases we cannot perform the Kobido massage and such contraindications include:

• acute inflammation of the body, fever

• skin inflammation (infectious and allergic)

• disruption of skin continuity

• severe rosacea

• inflammatory acne

• herpes

• freshly extracted tooth

When can you do Kobido facial sculpting if you have had aesthetic medicine treatments?

• Botox – wait 2 weeks

• Fillers with hyaluronic acid – wait 4 to 6 weeks

• Threads with hooks – massage can be done only after 6 months

• Needle mesotherapy treatment – after 3 days (until the epidermis heals)

If you had a surgical face lift, Kobido can be performed 1 year from the procedure till full recovery. The technique will be adjusted to ensure the skin, facial fat and muscles will be kept in prime condition.

Prior to dental procedures, when required to reach back teeth by a dentist, it would be beneficial to have 2x Kobido sessions to relax the jaw and increase the angle to open it up.
